Thanks so much for visiting Lumina Portrait Design! I'm Geneve (top photo, with my daughter), and Marina runs the wedding division of Lumina (below with her two beautiful girls!). Lumina officially opened up shop in 2007…but the idea of Lumina had been a twinkle in my eye for a long time. My photo career began over 25 years ago and has taken a wandering path from activist documentary filmmaking to dramatic black and white landscapes of the American West, to swanky New England wedding couples…to here. The birth of my daughter in 2007 re-awakened my senses and I started noticing small, quiet, joyful moments all around me. Marina joined us in 2009 (we met at a wedding!) and has a wonderful eye not only for wedding moments and details on the seacoast...but, we also call her the "baby whisperer" for her ability to capture babies at their best! Talk about multi-talented. It is such an honor to participate in the lives of our clients, and for that reason we offer Lumina…the space where we can authentically capture and share all the beauty and magic of life. Life is about love. Love of work, love of a child, love of yourself, love of family, love of community, love of the planet, and love of life. Let Lumina document it! Lumina is life. documented. |
